Fran Hill (Specialist Occupational Therapist) established South Coast Fatigue in 2009 and the practice remains one of only a small number of independent providers of specialist fatigue management services in the UK.

South Coast Fatigue’s therapy led, multi-disciplinary team are all HCPC registered, senior health professionals, with many years of experience in the NHS and independent practice. 

We are focused on developing client-centred, recovery focused programmes to help you manage your energy and improve your wellbeing, level of function and enjoyment of life. 

We are experienced in dealing with adult clients of all ages who experience fatigue as a predominant, disabling feature of their condition, such as multiple sclerosis, stroke, brain injury, post viral fatigue, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome/ME, fibromyalgia and other long-term conditions.

Fran Hill

Specialist Occupational Therapist BSc (Hons), MSc Advanced Clinical Practice

Fran worked initially at Oldchurch Hospital, Romford under the leadership of Professor Findley as part of his dedicated fatigue team, before moving to Hampshire where she continued to work with CFS/ME patients, first with the NHS and then in an independent capacity.

Tanya Bushby

Team Secretary

Tanya is a former teacher and experienced medical secretary who supports the team with all secretarial and administrative tasks.  She is very knowledgeable about all the programmes South Coast Fatigue offers and is often the first point of contact for our clients.

Liz Toy

Business Manager/ Specialist Occupational Therapy BSc (Hons)

Prior to joining South Coast Fatigue, Liz worked for the NHS and Adult Services supporting clients with complex disabilities including stroke, spinal injury and multiple sclerosis.She has a special interest in sleep management and insomnia.

Julie Gee

Specialist Nurse (RGN)

Julie has wide nursing experience both in the community and hospital setting including working as a Multiple Sclerosis Nurse. Julie worked as a specialist nurse at the Hampshire and IOW CFS/ME Service before joining South Coast Fatigue.

Ellie McCarthy

Specialist Occupational Therapist BSc (Hons)

Ellie previously worked in the field of severe brain injury and is experienced at devising client centred rehabilitation programmes and working with other organisations that may be involved in client care. 

Priya Tew

Dietician (BSc Hons Nutritional Sciences, MSc Dietetics)

Priya began her career with the NHS and is experienced in delivering nutritional advice to varied client groups, including brain injury clients.  As well as working as a dietician and nutritionist, Priya is a qualified Pilates instructor. 

Liz Shelley

MSc. Psychotherapeutic Counsellor (UKAHPP, UKCP)

Liz has wide experience as a psychotherapeutic counsellor working independently and within the NHS for many years with a range of issues including anxiety and depression.  She has a specialist interest in Mindfulness and uses these skills with great success in many of her client interventions.
